I have an issue where I have sqlserver.exe running seemingly 24/7 with quite a lot of CPU usage (over half a core, or about 10% total).
I used Process Explorer to investigate and it's telling me that the process was started by Veeam Agent.
But right now my last backup have been completed 14 hours ago and Veeam isn't supposed to be doing anything, it just has the tray icon running and waiting for the next backup to start in 8 hours.
So what is it doing? And is there a way to fix that? I'm doing other CPU intensive stuff and it's annoying to have 10% reserved by Veeam constantly.

Re: Veeam Agent running sqlserver.exe 24/7 with high CPU usage
Make sure you're not running low on RAM. We saw SQL Server behaving strange when the system runs low on RAM, which causes this CPU load.
