Hi Guys and Gals
Im just wondering how people are approaching the following situation
Hyper V Host (Standalone) needs to be backed up
VMs are done by VBR at the moment but the host also has shares etc (I know they shouldn't)
How do people get the Veeam Agent to not backup hyper v file so we don't end up with duplicate data of the VMs? But still get a backup of the rest of the host
Cheers in advance

Re: Veeam Agent to backup Standalone Hyper V host
Hello and welcome to the community Ryan.
Generally, you can use Veeam Agent in file level backup mode and exclude the content related to Hyper-V. To be honest, I'd rather use Veeam B&R to protect VMs in conjunction with periodic configuration backup to protect Veeam B&R installation and move away all other data. Hope it makes sense. Cheers!
