Veeam Agent Windows / Workstation Edition / multiple jobs to regular backup targets

Post by phoenix3k »

hi,

im trying to configure veeam agent for microsoft windows (workstation edition) to backup to two different network locations with two different jobs.
im getting the following error message: workstation edition does not support multiple jobs to regular backup targets

is this an offical product limitation ? could you point me to the right direction ?
are there any plans to change this limitation ?

thank you in advance

Hello phoenix3k,

That is correct. Backup job licensed as workstations support only one job to a local repository, you can either use Veeam B&R backup copy job to transfer the backup from one repository to another for redundancy or use server license which will allow multiple jobs on the client side. Thanks!
