Veeam Backup Endpoint 1.5 Free

Hi all!
I am receiving an error message when trying to configure my endpoint to send backups to a Veeam repository. The error is "WMI method call failed. Generic failure." I have tested the WMI service on the client and server, all of the necessary ports are configured in the Windows firewall, and exclusions have been set in McAfee AV. I also cannot get into the GUI to request technical support for this issue, so this is my one chance to get help.
