Veeam Endpoint Agent - Synthetic Full
Hi,
I'm using Veeam endpoint agent to take a server backup to a remote Veeam repository.
I'm then using the Veeam backup and replication server to take a copy via Veeam of that backup - I've got the backup copy window which works in that it stops copying when it should due to the schedule.
When the copy starts again - it creates incremental rather then continuing to build the full backup.
If I continue to allow it to take incremental backups - how can I then get it to create the full from the original part of the full including all the incrementals.
Or
How can I make the copy job continue where it left of and finish building the full backup file.
Regards,
Dave.

Hello Dave,
Synthetic full backup can be configured via Veeam Agent for Windows job settings. Once done, you can create a backup copy job to transfer backup jobs produced by main job to your secondary repository.

Thanks Dima for the reply.
I can see the option for active full but not synthetic full.
Can you show me a screenshot?

Thanks Dima for the reply.
Do you mean the paid version is able to create a synthetic full at the local backup target and/or the remote backup repository?
If i create a copy job from a Veeam agent - should the archive feature not create a synthetic full?
Regards,
Dave.
