Good morning,
We are experiencing an issue with one particular server when deploying the "Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows", where it fails to complete the installation during the service startup process. You can submit a retry and the same issue occurs (Veeam Service does not start). Server is a Windows Server 2012 R2 server with RDS services. Have tried with both local admin and domain admins with the same results yielded.
Install log is as below:

I've submitted three service requests regarding this, however the previous two (#04245001 & #04266768) have been closed without any contact. Latest ticket number is #04279167 which is now pending assistance.
Please advise what we can do to resolve this. Have found this problem across a number of different posts however none of the prior mentioned solutions have worked.

hmm, the cases were closed because looks like they were opened for free version of the product, which only gets best effort support based on staff availability.
If you have an active support contract, I recommend opening a case in my.veeam.com with your support ID.
For the problem itself: I believe only support can help with this kind of issues. We here can only be guessing.

Windows Server 2012 R2 is fully supported, but we test our products on a clean OS install. Most likely, this is some server-specific issue: unusual server configuration, or a 3rd party software conflict. Support should be able to pin point with a debug log review and/or webex. Thanks!

I've spoken with support yesterday and issue was resolved by changing the login account the service was using. On this one particular server, it needed a service account, not just Local System/Service.
