VEEAMRE is stuck on Windows 10 boot logo

When booting from VEEAM recovery media, my desktop is stuck on the Windows 10 boot logo. I've tried using DVD and USB stick, with and without system drivers, all with the same result. It's not the USB port or DVD drive because I can boot using non-VEEAM media. The BIOS only allows booting from USB if Legacy USB is enabled so disabling is not an option. Any ideas?

On the Windows 10 boot logo step, Microsoft Windows is loading files from the Veeam Recovery Media and it can take more time than loading from the local drive. Please, follow this article to read more about Booting from Veeam Recovery Media. Thanks!

I've been away for awhile so here is an update. It takes 15 minutes for VEEAMRE to boot from USB stick and 7 minutes to boot from DVD. It is very slow but it does eventually boot. I didn't think it would be that slow.

Please check you BIOS boot settings: it might be faster if you use UEFI boot mode instead of legacy boot mode. Cheers!
