A Windows PC not used for a long time have Veeam Agent 1.5.0.306 installed.
I need to perform a full backup before making any relevant change: can I still trust a full backup with such old version?
After completing the backup can I update directly to the current version?
Regards

Re: Very old version
Hello,
and welcome to the forum.
Bit's don't get old as long as the hardware does not lose them. I still trust it. It's not like food that get's bad over time
I did not see any limitations for upgrade in the user guide: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=40
So I would say "should work". Even if not, it's not a problem. Just uninstall the old version and re-install. The new version can read the data from the old version anyway.
Best regards,
Hannes
