Hello everyone,
I am currently testing Veeam Endpoint Backup and I've run into a little bit of a problem. The software does a seed and incremental backups without issue but when I try to do a file restore for testing, my computers at the office experience a blue screen and reboot. I've tested it on three PC's and it replicated the same results. When I uninstalled the antivirus client and tried again, I was able to access it without any problem.
In the database I saw that I could add exceptions to the antivirus so that I can access the files. I tried that and still experienced the same error.
I just want to make you aware that this anti-virus is having a conflict with Veeam.
I think I may need to open a case to troubleshoot this, unless anyone has suggestions to try?
Regards,

Re: Vipre antivirus: Blue screen when using file restore.
Hi Jason,
Did you exclude all Veeam processes? Based on the existing threads in these forums, this usually helps.
Thanks!
