VM Bare metal restore to dissimilar hardware

Hi,

Environment:

- Domain Controller running as VM on ESXi.
- Need to perform bare metal restore of that VM to a dissimilar hardware

Note: It has to be bare metal restore on different hardware and without hypervisor

Is it possible using any product from Veeam?

Yes, you can do that by using Veeam Agent for Windows (VAW).

To simplify the driver management for the boot media, I recommend to install a Windows first on the new hardware. Then create a boot media on the new hardware with VAW. Use that boot media for restore
