VSS Snapshot process causing issues with DFS replication

We are using Veeam agent for Windows to backup multiple large drives on one of our file servers. We have 3 backup jobs that target these drives due to the size of the drives and for separation of the Veeam backup files so we can commit to tape. The jobs are scheduled to run a hour apart from each other. Periodically one of the Veeam backup jobs for these drives will get hung up on the VSS snapshot process for hours and cause DFS replication to stop working. Do we need to have all 3 backup job kick off at the same time to avoid this? Or does Veeam has best practices for multiple backups job targeting one server that will not affect DFS replication?

Implementing a No DFS replication window has resolved this issue. In DFS management console, you can configure the DFS Replication group schedule for No replication during certain times or window. This seems to do the treat. Our Veeam agent backups jobs have been successful and the VSS snapshots seem to even run faster.
