What's the "C:\VeeamFLR" folder?

Post by JChris »

I use Veeam Endpoint Backup 1.5.0.306 and I've already done quite a few backups to my SOHO NAS. I found a folder on this path: "C:\VeeamFLR" with no content, I even turned on "show hidden files" on Windows 10 and found nothing. I already deleted this folder sometime ago but it seems it was created again. Why is it created, does it have any use?

Hi, at File Level Recovery Veeam will mount the backup there so that the wizard can access it. As well you can use this folder than for manual copy or if you want to use some special copy scripts at file restore.

Oh ok, thanks. I never tried to open it while having "Backup Browser" open, now I see the shortcuts in there, amazing!
