Will it backup a vm if run from a Win8 machine?

Question, Veema Backup Endpoint, as Windows 8 has hyper-v option, if a user builds there own vm on their local system, and I then configure Endpoint backup to backup the whole system, will it also backup the vm they create?

Assuming that VM disks will be stored on the local disks of the Hyper-V host, then this VM will also be backed up (as a regular set of files).
