Will Veeam11 support Windows11?

With a few Windows 11 leaks here and there, Microsoft is likely to roll out their Windows 11 upgrades later this year, according to many blogs on Google. I was curious to know if one were to run Veeam 11 on Windows 11, up to what extent would it be supported?

It would be terrible that a client Upgrades to Windows 11 in excitement, and not have Veeam to support them.

Would anyone like to share their thoughts, or perhaps a solution in this regard?

Hi Ishaan, as always with new operating system releases or updates, we suggest customers to hold off until we announce official support for it. This could be done via a minor/major release but for now, we can't comment on what will exactly be needed to fully support it.

Hello Ishaan,

It will be possible to install upcoming Veeam Agent for Windows 5.0.1 (upcoming update) to Windows 11, but keep in mind that this will be 'experimental' support for the Operation System that was not released yet. Thanks!

Do you have an release date for 5.0.1?
I have been running Windows 11 for a while now and the current version 5.0.0.4301 doesn't work at all in it.

Still waiting for Windows 11 support in VBR? I have lot of Clients that want to upgrade but I have to wait until I can back them up.
