Hi all.
I’m using veeam agent for windows to backup my desktop machine. My desktop machine I old, from a time when UEFI booting didn’t exist. My boot volume is a 500 GB SSD connected via SATA.
I’m wanting to upgrade my system to a new one now and I want to use a NVMe SSD as opposed to a SATA SSD.
Can I use my veeam backup image and recovery media to accomplish this? Or do I need to look elsewhere for software that’ll let me restore a MBR windows install into an EFI environment?

breakaway,
Indeed, in order to perform recovery you need to create recovery media. Once done you can use it as bootable image to perform Bare Metal Restore. Cheers!
