Windows 2008 Storage Server Backup/Restore to VM
We have a Windows 2008 Storage Server that we'd like to migrate the data to a VM over a period of time. One thought is to install Veeam Endpoint on it and restore the backups to the VM. If this works, what are the Windows license ramifications? Would my Windows Datacenter license cover the VM as I plan to repurpose the physical server at my DR site.

Hi Doug,
I doubt that you can install VEB on Windows 2008 Storage Server since VEB supports windows servers starting from windows 2008 R2 SP1.
