Windows Agent Job replicated with Backup and Replication

We run a mostly virtual environment with a smattering of physical machines ( 4 ).

I have no problem backing up the Windows Agent machines to the Backup and Replication Repository.

When I try to run a backup copy job, it finishes one machine and then the other 3 fail with :
Initial copy did not complete, and will resume on the next copy interval

Backup & Replication - 9.5.0.1038
Agent - 2.0.0.594 - Free Edition

The agent backup jobs do not come close to overlapping ( Agent jobs run from 3:30p - 5:15p and the copy job isn't allowed to start until 9. )

Does it confirm every job run? Does the job fail after processing the same agent backup or it is always the random agent backup?

1) Yes - each individual job runs without issue.
2) It is the same agent that succeeds, all the others fail with the exact same error.

I actually got that wrong --- the first 3 fail, the final machine replication succeeds.

Support believes that this is an issue with a mismatch in compression between Windows Agent Jobs and Backup Copy Job.
