Hi,
I'm brand new into Veeam Agent for Windows but I do have some experience with Backup solutions from my past work and I encountered some problems with the Veeam Agent for Windows. I do have a new machine already and I wanted to use my old Laptop as "experience" to see if the backup solution works fine, just in case you're wondering

Here are the details:
- Dell Latutide E5450
- Windows 7
- Veeam Agent 3.0.2.1170 Free Edition
- One job (Entire Computer, with and without password encryption) to local storage (external drive)
- Recovery Media created on the same computer
My first try was two weeks ago Friday and I did a backup and afterwards I restored the backup. After restarting back into Windows, I got the error mesage during startup "Windows did not shut down successfully" . I was wondering because I could not remember that I had any issue previously so I ignoried this message with "Start Windows Normally". Some seconds later, I got a blue screen (max. half a second, I could not recognize the issue of the BSOD) and Windows restarted and I was hanging in a boot loop. Instead Start Windows normally, I also tried to fix the startup problems with the other option Windows gave me but no success.
Finally I managed to get Windows running back by using the F8 function before startup "Last Good Known Configuration". To avoid any problems, I therefore installed all the latest available updates for Windows 7, did several (successful) restarts and did another update in the same way as above but unfortunately without success. I ran into the exact same situation and I'm curious what the reason may be here.
Does anyone else had the same or similar situation?
Thanks and best regards Thomas.
