Hi,
I'm trying to use latest Veeam Agent 2.2.0.589 Free Edition to backup a Windows-To-Go-System.
I have a notebook with an internal HDD and and external USB 3.0 drive with Windows-To-Go 10 Redstone 4 on it.
Veeam only shows the partitions of the internal drive, but note those of the external drive to be backed up (in file level backup).
If I select "Operating System" and "Personal Files", Veeam quits the backup after half a minute or so saying "nothing to backup".
Greetings,
Heiko

Re: Windows To Go: Veeam Agent doesn't find system partition
Heiko,
Veeam Agent for Windows does not support external disks as a source. That's why you cannot see the volumes on this disk in backup wizard. Thanks.

Ok, I understand.
But why this limitation?

That's a 'by design' limitation of our backup engine. Cheers!
