I apologize for being unable to insert the support case ID, but I am unable to open a support case as at the moment I have no access to the PC and I can’t upload logs.
I hope the somebody will help anyway…
Veeam backup agent for Mirsosoft Windows was installed on a Windows 10 standalone PC, used for the first time but not used for at least 2 years.
I attempted to start it as an user with Administrator’s rights but after clicking the icon nothing happens.
I updadet it to version 6.1.0.349 but I get the same problem.
I attempted a fresh install after un installing and deleting files and registry keys with no success.
The service looks to be running.
If I try to configure the backup I get the following error:
Failed to resolve client id. WMI method call failed. Non trovato
(“Non trovato” is “Not found” in Italian)
How can I troubleshoot and solve the problem?

Re: WMI Error
Hi Marius,
Thank you for your post and sorry to hear about the challenges.
Regrettably a Support Case will be needed here as we cannot provide troubleshooting over the forums. Be sure to collect logs from the affected machine once you get access for Support to review.
Unfortunately the WMI error is a bit too vague to really advise much of anything so a Support Case is the way to go once you can get access to the server in question.
