Agent backup not truncating Oracle logs

We upgraded to V12 and also updated the agent to V6 on a RHEL 7.9
We were earlier on V11 and agent on V5 ...Application aware backup was configured and Oracle logs truncation was enabled which was working fine,
After upgrade, the Oracle Log truncation stopped happening and nothing in the logs.
With V12 and agent V5, log truncation is still happening.
Raised support ticket Case #06088138 ....
Its been more than a month and Support is still not able to do anything ....

Anyone else faced this ??

Hi Anand

From the case notes I can see that you have DataGuard enabled/installed on your Oracle Server, which is an unsupported scenario for Oracle processing with our Veeam Agent.
It may have worked before, but it's still an unsupported scenario. Our customer support can only provide help on best effort if they face a customer environment which was build on an unsupported scenario.

Hi Fabian,
I'm doing my testing on a replica of the original server .. So if I understand you correctly, if I disable the oracle dataguard while testing and still the problem occurs, then it will be a supported scenario right ....and Support will have to prioritise ...

I have done a quick test by disabling the dataguard and taken the backup again.
Still the logs are not getting truncated.

that's surprising, because DataGuard was never supported for Veeam Agents. It's supported for VM-based backup or with the Oracle RMAN plugin.
