Agent for FreeBSD?

Post by riahc3 »

Hello

Im trying to backup a FreeBSD machine and I need it to be agent based.

Is there any agent in plans for FreeBSD?

Thank you

Is this still the case? We're looking to deploy the agent across our physical fleet now and we've got about a dozen FreeBSD boxes we would like to cover.

Hi Mike.

Have you considered using rsync to back up your FreeBSD machines?

Any updates on this? My customer wants to use our Veeam Cloud Connect setup but it seems we cannot help him as their installbase is mainly running on Freebsd.

Is there a specific reason why Freebsd is not supported while so many other Linux version are supported?

The specific reason is negligible market share comparing to those other Linux versions.
We simply cannot justify supporting it from a business perspective.
