［AIX] Bare Metal restore from power8 to power9

Is it support in Aix agent 4.0.1?
Aix 7.2 verison
One lpar is running in Power8 and installed agent and managed by VBR.
Can i do the bare metal restore to
the ibm power9 system?
Thanks!

If yes, the virtual adpater, scsi setting are required to set the same number?

Hello Eric,

Bare metal recovery to dissimilar hardware is not supported. Attempting such a restore may lead to unpredictable results.
