I have major difficulties to get Veeam backup up and running on a SLES 11 SP4 physical machine.
/etc/fstab is
Code: Select all
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 / ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 1
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
/dev/volgroup00/dwh_mesbinlog /dwh_mesbinlog xfs defaults 1 2
/dev/volgroup01/dwh_mesdata /dwh_mesdata xfs defaults 1 2
/dev/volgroup00/mesbinlog /mesbinlog xfs defaults 1 2
/dev/volgroup01/mesdata /mesdata xfs defaults 1 2
/dev/disk/by-id/cciss-3600508b1001c99f74a8077ceddf30f29-part1 /backup ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 2
If I configure this in B&R only *mesbinlog is backed up. If I set the backup job just to “/” or “/backup” nothing is backed up at all. It tried it with “devices” and “mountpoint” option – no luck.
If I switch to an agent controlled job – the agent only sees the lvm volumes, but no other devices or mountpoints?
Does anyone know what’s wrong?
Regards,
Sascha
PS: I know I could switch to file level backup as a last resort – but this is so painfully slow that this isn’t an option at all.
