Bare Metal Restore issues

So I am trying to test out doing a bare metal restore and am having issues.
Whenever I am trying to config the NIC that will be used, it would appear the connection resets, and will not allow me to IP the port. (The port also shows up as disconnected after attempting this)
without this I am somewhat in a bind, I'm trying to see if its just a hardware issue, or if its something else.

I'm just curious if anyone else has ran into this issue.
