Hello!
This is on Solaris, but I assume that the mechanism is similar on the other Unix and Unix-like OSes.
I am investigating the pre- and post-job feature. These are scripts that are started before and after execution of a backup job, respectively. I would like to use a pre-job script to dump a database into a directory, then back up that directory. The database dump can take a long time. However, the "Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris 4 User Guide" says:
"The default time period for script execution is 10 minutes. After this period expires, Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris stops executing the script and displays a warning message in the job session.!
How can I increase this 10 minute timout?
Thanks,
VAB

Re: Change default timout for a "pre-job" script?
Hello @VAB
You can archive it by altering following configuration line in /etc/veeam/veeam.ini file:
Do not forget to restart agent service.
