Change Mountpoint on Restore

Post by edvbuo »

Hello,

we test the great Linux Agent BETA on Ubuntu 14.04 but i have a Problem with the Restore. On our System, the Path "/mnt/* " are used by other SMB Share.

I would like to restore files, but the Veeam Linux Agent BETA attempts to create a folder /mnt/backup, but it fails.

Can i change this Mount Point on any *.config File?

Best Regards
Niels

Hi and welcome to the community!

Actually Agent should create the "/backup" directory under "/mnt". I've tested your scenario - everything worked fine. I'm curious whether you already have "backup" directory under "/mnt" ? Also we need logs to be reviewed, so please upload them to any place of your choice and share the link with us.

Nevertheless, your request seems valid to me, thanks!

Thanks for the logs! You can use "veeamconfig" command followed by extra keys to mount the required mountpoint to the directory of your choice.

Thanks
