Error install Veeam data mover
When adding a linux server, the message Failed to save Linux server is displayed: Single-use credentials require Veeam Data Mover service installed.
I already installed the veeam agent on linux but the error persists. Please help me

Hi Jonathas
Are you trying to backup a linux server with the veeam Agent? Or are you trying to add a linux hardened repository?
Single use credentials are only used for linux hardened repositories. And Veeam Agent for Linux is not a veeam data mover. The data mover service gets deployed when you add a linux server as a managed server to veeam.
Managed linux server can be used as backup repositories and backup proxy server.

Thanks for the answer, I'm implementing a hardened repository. But when I'm adding the repository when applying, it shows the error that the veeam data move is necessary and it doesn't advance.

Does the account you're using to setup the linux server have the necessary permissions to install the server? So is it part of the sudo group?
Also is SSH available/open?
If so, I would follow Fabian's advice and contact support.

Here are a couple of suggestions that may help
- make sure that the user has a home directory created, use the 'mkhomedir_helper username' command to set one up if it does not.
- temporarily add the user to the adm group and try again the command 'usermod -aG admin username' should do the trick if needed

Veeam has an error and misleading logs, if hardened repository user does not have a home directory created it is failing to add the linux server with misleading info that your linux is not 64 bit. Instructions for Hardened repository are saying nothing about home directory. Fix veeam AND fix the instructions.

User Guides can be fixed easy. You can always use the send feedback button on the bottom of each page of the user guide if you feel some important information is missing or when there is a wrong statement in the user guide.
