Hello,
I mean something like in tar:
man tar
...
--one-file-system
stay in local file system when creating archive
...
e.g. on system with only / and /boot containing any persistent data
(other mountpoints kernel/temporary structures such as proc and devfs, which are not necessary to backup)
these command should backup all files:
tar cf /mnt/usb/test.tar / --one-file-system
tar cf /mnt/usb/test-boot.tar /boot --one-file-system
So it would be nice to specify to veeam on such system to fileLevel backup / and /boot, and with option "--one-file-system" it will not be necessary to exclude mountpoints on which veeam errors with "Unable find filesystem type for device with number ..." as I have in support case 04350371.
Best Regards,
Tomas JIRKA
