Fedora Veeamsnap install

Post by jasonzeus »

I've installed the latest veeam-release-fc24-1.0.5-1.x86_64.rpm OK but cannot do a local backup as the snap agent is not part of the install.

$ modprobe veeamsnap
modprobe: FATAL: Module veeamsnap not found in directory /lib/modules/4.18.12-300.fc29.x86_64

I think I just need to install the veeamsnap as described in the install guide

rpm -i <...>/veeamsnap-2.0.1.665-1.noarch.rpm

Does anyone have the download url for this rpm please?

Which kernel are you on?
If it's 4.18+ than it's not officially supported.

Try this
veeam-agent-for-linux-f41/fedora-26-ker ... ml#p295019
