GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
Hello Guys,
please help me with my strange problem. I installed veeam agent for linux successfully on one of my servers.
Backing up is no problem and everything seems fine. But executing apt update now shows an error.

W: GPG-Fehler: http://repository.veeam.com/backup/linu ... ian/public stable InRelease: Die folgenden Signaturen waren ungültig: EXPKEYSIG 54706D7******* Veeam Software Repository key <support@veeam.com>

Any idea what to do?

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
The issue is not related to the software, it is about GPG keys which were used to sign packages on the repository. That is, you need to update veeam-release package on all systems.
Thanks

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
Hi,
I am having the same problem with all of our CentOS 7 setups.
"GPG key signature on key http://repository.veeam.com/keys/RPM-GP ... reRepo.asc does not matvch CA Key for repo: veeam"
I have tried uninstalling and downloading latest from website, installed again and getting the same error.
Also get the error when trying to run update excluding veeam.
Any news on a fix?

Hi,
Have you tried to install the updated veeam-release package as it's suggested here?
Also, moving your post to the existing thread with the same error to keep similar issues together.
Thanks!

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
If add-apt-repository does not work, did you try to remove the repository directly from /etc/apt/sources.list file or from /etc/apt/sources.list.d?

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
Yes, as i wrote in the previous post it is not listed in /etc/apt/sources.list file
Is ""add-apt-repository -r ""http://repository.veeam.com/backup/linu ... ian/public stable InRelease" the correct command?
Or do i need to use the "ppa" name? But where can I find the ppa name?
Thanks

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
@hirratas,
is it present in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory as a separate file?
How did you add this repository, did you use ppa?
Thanks!

Re: GPG-Error on Debian Stretch
If you've added the repository with add-apt-repository using ppa, it's added as a separate file to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory.
Glad you've solved it after the file removal!
