Hi
i want get a full backup from my redhat OS (entire system) but just want exclude one of the mount point (/backup)
is that possible get full system backup and exclude that path ?

Hi,
Actually, that's what Volume backup mode is for - you can go there and uncheck the volume that is mounted on the mountpoint. For example, if you have /dev/MyVolGroup/mediavol mounted on /mnt, then just exclude "mediavol" in the volume selection step.

Is that mean had to change type of backup for entire system to volume ?
Can i boot my system with restore volume backup ? As I know just we can restore system that capable to boot in bare metal system is in entire system mode

That's right,, you'll have to change that. In general, having a backup of /boot and root partitions should be enough for bare-metal restore and boot.
