Hi, how can I avoid the log generated by Veeam backup in my terminal when using history command ?
I get something like the following log (and many more like this)
export PS1="VEEAM_TERMINAL_PROMPT$"; echo $?; echo ded912fe-c8123-4b45-a320-d8fcg12f82c6
961 whoami; echo $?; echo c23fasda58-11dasd-e0c-9123-354d77bb4687
this log is in the terminal of one server that's being backed up

Re: how to avoid the log in my terminal ?
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
Instead trying to find a way to avoid it, what do you think about using a dedicated backup user so you don't see the commands when working with your production user?
Best regards,
Hannes

Hi,
@emiliortega,
Just to clarify what's going on here...
From your description it seems that the issue shows up on a Linux machine backed up by VAL. Which management mode is that - managed by VBR or managed by Agent?
Thanks!
