If I have a dark site (no internet) with physical servers that are Linux and deploy a Veeam B&R server and from there deploy the agent for linux to the servers to protect their workloads the backups are successful.
But to restore requires a helper appliance on a hypervisor. I have no hypervisor at the dark site available.
Is there no way to extract files from the backup and manually transfer them to the server without having any appliance VM?

Re: How to Restore from Agent Backup without Helper Appliance?
Hi,
Currently you can mount backups for file-level restore directly on the linux host (please check this guide)
In future versions we plan to add a feature that allows VBR to mount backups directly on an selected linux host.
Thanks!
