Linux agent for SLES 15 latest version of SP5

We recently updated our SLES 15 to SP5 because there was a Veeam article stating they support SP5, not stating it wasn't all versions of SP5. I later found another KB article that Veeam doesn't support all versions of SP5 (would be nice if Veeam didn't have conflicting articles). But after the upgrade our backups no longer work. We installed version 15.14.21-150500.55.52 and Veeam supports up to version 15.14.21-150500.55.44. We can't downgrade and are now unable to backup our system. We need an updated agent. When can we expect the agent to be updated to include version 15.14.21-150500.55.52.

Hello Allan,

The article which you are referring, is indeed main user guide for VAL and it states following (and points to the kernel support KB):

"If a new version of a supported Linux distribution is released after the release of the current version of Veeam Agent, Veeam Agent may require a patch to support this new OS version. For details on Veeam Agent compatibility with Linux OS versions, see this Veeam KB article."

You may open Support Case and state your issue.

You can reboot system to the previous kernel version, can't you?

Thanks for your response. I opened a case with support and he didn't realize some versions of SP5 weren't supported. He also didn't have an answer for when the updated agent will come out. The hope was that maybe in forums I would at least get informed when a new agent will come out. We aren't comfortable downgrading to our previous version since that was SP4.
