Hello Veeam Support,

Thanks for making our life more easier .


We are planning to use Oracle Virtual machine to host our ERP system, application and RAC databases.

RAC database will be hosted on ASM. Can linux agent help us in such configuration?

Veeam agent will be installed inside VM, for apps I can see it can be enough as application include binaries (shared LUNs). what about database, does RMAN can be used as part from prescript?/prefreeze like MySQL.


Assume this can be integrated with Veeam and replication and clone as test/dvelopment as VM.

Any plan for application-aware to be implemented? any restriction on Linux.


Oracle VM will be added to HyperVisor list ??

We will support scripts for application consistency. Specific application integration is not planned for version 1 so scripts are recommended.
