Not restoring on Leap 15.1.
What does work;
Restore disk with Clonezilla backup, then restore boot loader from Veeam Agent!?!
Bingo! Bango! Back in business!
Hardly ideal, do you need exported logs? (I'm being very lazy.)

Re: openSUSE Leap 15.1
Hi,
Please describe disks structure, backup settings, the restore process (and where it has stuck). Also I'd suggest to contact support directly on that so they can see what's happening.
Thanks!

Re: openSUSE Leap 15.1
It's the default Leap layout, Fat16 boot with singular root BTRFS known as SDD. The disk fails to boot after restore, with a GRUB error. Clonzilla trips up also non bootable. After extensive fiddling, the only thing that works is using both programs in tandem. Restore SDD from Clonzilla, then restore bootloader with Veeam Backup For Linux Free.
I do not think I can contact support as I am not a customer.

Even without having an active contract you are eligible for best-effort support, just don't forget to post case ID. Also it would be nice to know the exact error message (if you happen to remember it).
Thanks!
Thanks!
