Hello,
i am doing VAU test in my production environment. I wanted to ask you if it was possible to change the media directory. By default this folder is located in / etc / veeam / media, i.e. under /. However, we usually give little space to / and now every backup is likely to fill up quickly. In which configuration file is this parameter described? Also is it possible to do a rotary cleaning of the files placed there?
root@aix:/etc/veeam/media# ls -al
total 19120
drwxr-xr-x 2 root system 256 Mar 23 16:01 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 root system 4096 Mar 23 16:19 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 621 Mar 23 11:54 Mon Mar 23 11:54:12 2020.lml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 2785280 Mar 23 12:36 Mon Mar 23 12:28:46 2020.lml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 0 Mar 23 12:55 Mon Mar 23 12:55:40 2020.lml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 6985563 Mar 23 16:17 Mon Mar 23 16:01:49 2020.lml
thank you

Kindly check this UG page, and this one too.In which configuration file is this parameter described?
Yes. You need to specify the desired retention every time you trigger the backup. Please see our UG for details. Also is it possible to do a rotary cleaning of the files placed there?
