Hello,
We have a 2 node RHEL cluster with shared storage between them and we want to back up the shared disks. The shared disks are active on one node and passive on the other.
We have VBR 12 installed and we added both RHEL cluster nodes in a protection group and successfully installed the Veeam agent on them.
We want to configure a file backup for the shared disks (/disk1 and /disk2 mount points).
Is there a way to configure a backup job with the cluster virtual IP/name and not have to configure 2 jobs (one for each node, in case of failovers)?
Hopefully I worded everything clearly.
Thanking you in advance.

Re: Question about backing up a RHEL cluster with the Veeam Agent for Linux
Hi,
You can export the shared file systems as an NFS share using a VIP and run a NAS backup job from Veeam Backup & Replication.
Will this approach suit your case?
