case #05925012
The tail end of the 11a vuln patch https://www.veeam.com/kb4245?ad=in-text-link instructions, for 'known issues' mentions
"Veeam Agent for Linux: version 5.0.2 comes with veeamsnap kmod/kmp modules signed with a renewed certificate. Following the agent upgrade, you must update veeamsnap-ueficert package and enroll the new certificate to UEFI MOK, otherwise the module will fail to load. This applies only to RHEL/CentOS and SLES/openSUSE machines with UEFI SecureBoot enabled."
Currently we are using nosnap to install all of our Veeam Agents for Linux. I'm assuming this issue would not affect us. Correct? I'm not our Linux admin, so apologies if this seems obvious.
(I tried calling support at this hour, but forgot there is no Agent for Linux phone support help available for US Federal customers).
Thanks much. : )

Re: re: vuln patch known issue w Agent for Linux q
Hi Edison
Our veeam-nosnap package won't install the veeamsnap kernel modules.
So you are not affected by it.
Additionally, there is no new Agent build to deploy after you have installed the P20230227 Patch.
So you can ignore the known issue for this patch P20230227.
Best,
Fabian
