RHEL 9.5 and VAL
Hello,
RHEL 9.5 was released last week - is the VAL compatible or should we hold off on upgrading (and if so, is there a timeline for getting a new agent?) We are currently on VB&R 12.1.2.172

Hello Geoff,
The upcoming release will support RHEL 9.5, so I recommend holding off on the upgrade.

But don't hold off VBR upgrade please, as 12.1.2.172 has a vulnerability that is actively exploited in the wild.

Re: RHEL 9.5 and VAL
Hello Geoff,
We’ve just completed testing a kernel module patch for VAL 6.2.0.101 to support RHEL 9.5.
In the coming days, patch will be available through a support case request and on the my.veeam.com portal. Stay tuned!

Re: RHEL 9.5 and VAL
Is there any update on this? We have a few servers that were updated to 9.5 and then had to get the Linux admins to boot off the old Kernel in order to keep backing up the system. Thanks

Re: RHEL 9.5 and VAL
In which VBR and VAL release will RHEL 9.5 be officially supported? Still in VBR 12.2 or only in 12.3?
And when will that release be publicly available? (roughly)

Hello,
RHEL 9.5 is supported in version VBR 12.2 through the kernel module patch and will be fully supported in the VBR 12.3 release.
The 12.3 release will be available very soon—stay tuned!
