Hello!
I recently noticed that an empty file "/stop" is created each time that the Veeam SMF service is disabled:
Code: Select all
<backup-test:/tmp,22# ll /stop
/stop: No such file or directory
Exit 2
<backup-test:/tmp,23# svcadm disable veeamsvc
<backup-test:/tmp,24# ll /stop
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Dec 17 09:24 /stop
I suspect that this happens in the /opt/veeam/bin/veeamconfig binary. The issue is only cosmetic, but it is certainly annoying. A fix would be nice!
Thanks,
VAB

Just updated the Agent for Solaris to 4.6.1.1789. Unfortunately, this issue is still present.
