Upgrading to VAL 5 on SLES 15 SP1

Hi!

During the next week we plan to update a VBR 10.0.1.4854 console to the latest available VBR 11a patch.

This console and backup server has only a physical SLES 15 Service Pack 1 machine containing an SAP Hana as a resource to copy. Currently, this machine is backed up with a VAL 4.0.1.2372 managed by the VBR and a protection group.

Reviewing the pre-requisites for the upgrade, I come across these lines:

Both 64-bit and 32-bit versions (if applicable) of the following distributions are supported:
SLES 11 SP4, 12 SP2 - 15 SP3
SLES for SAP 11 SP4, 12 SP2 - 15 SP3

It seems unlikely that our customer will upgrade the SLES SP to the currently supported versions 2 and 3. Is it possible to upgrade to the latest VAL version with an SLES 15 SP1? If not, with SLES 15 SP1 what would be the latest version of the VAL we could install?

SLES 15 SP 1 is between SLES 12 SP2 and SLES 15 SP3. So SLES 15 SP 1 is supported.
