Hey,
can I install VAL on FreeBSD? Didn't find anything in the internet.
I want to backup the Server, so I'm not looking for a repository or something.
I also don't really need any application aware processing or anything, just a simple fullbackup.
If so, which version should be used?
- Debian/Ubuntu/Minu
-CentOS/RHEL/Oracle Linux 7(or 6)
-SUSE
-SLES 11/12
-Fedora 23/24
Any help is appreciated

Re: VAL on FreeBSD
Hi,
veeamsnap kernel module which is basically a core component of the software is exactly the same for all versions of VAL and it is not suited for installation on freeBSD. In other words "one does not simply install Linux kernel module onto a system other than Linux".
Thank you
