VB&R 9.0 Linux Backup Basic Question

Post by slingboy »

I have two Ubuntu 14.0.4 Servers in my virtual environment and am using Veeam Backup & Recovery 9.0. What are my options for getting these Linux machines into my daily backups?

You'll have to upgrade Veeam Backup & Replication 9 to 9.5 and then install update 1. This will allow you to send backup to a Veeam Repository from the Veeam Agent for Linux.

That is the recommendation I was expecting. Thank you for the confirmation.

One question, though. When you say these two Ubuntu servers are in your virtual environment, are they physical servers or VMs?
