Hi,
I have a newbie question, sorry.
Using Veeam Agent for Linux, on a physical HPE machine (SuSE SLES 12 as operating system), I am able to do backups, usually on an NFS mapped external drive.
Now I wonder to use, in addition, an LTO internal tape, to periodically archive my backups.
I tried to configure a new backup repository on the LTO tape, but without success.
Can anybody please suggest me a good way to proceed ?
Thank you in advance,
Enrico

Re: Veeam Agent backups to LTO tape
Hi Enrico
If you want to have Veeam to write agent backups to Tapes, you must use Veeam Backup & Replication and File to Tape or Backup to Tape Jobs.
The agent it self cannot write directly to Tape.

Thanks
