Could you provide some more details on the setup so we can assist? You should be able to backup every host with the agent, however, the cluster part needs some more information. Which distribution are you using and how is the setup?

Addressing the original question - no, currently VAL doesn't support snapshots on clustered configs. However, you can still use snapshot-less file-level mode since it won't utilize snapshots and thus won't cause any disruption in cluster services.
