Veeam Agent for IBM AIX

Post by GianlucaCroci »

Hello,
I received the message that the Agent for IBM AIX update is available.
Before proceeding with the installation they say to uninstall the old version.
Has anyone done this update before and can you give me the necessary information?
My knowledge in this area is null

Thanks for all the answers and help

That means you or someone requested a download via the website. Did you install the agent before as there was no new update to the build available on the website?

@GianlucaCroci, @nielsengelen,

I confirm - there was a minor bugfix update so we decided to directly shoot an email to our users so they wouldn't miss it.

So, how is your update procedure going?

Thanks!

We're currently working from home, and this morning after receiving the link from Niels, I spoke to my colleague who's in charge of the AIX machines (my duties include managing Veeam and not AIX, so I asked for help).
We agreed that there is no urgency at this time because agents are needed, and that on our return to the office, we'll test on a test machine. Then we'll try to extend changes to the others.
I thank all those who have observed.
