Hi @mirfan.

have you tried to download recovery media for linux?
From the guide,
You can create a Veeam Recovery Media for a protected computer in Veeam Backup & Replication if the following conditions are met:

- A protected computer runs a Microsoft Windows OS.
Working with Recovery Media for Linux you might find this guide helpful.

Thanks!

Hi George

Recovery Media Creation is only supported for Windows Veeam Agent Backups :-)

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
You can create a Veeam Recovery Media for a protected computer in Veeam Backup & Replication if the following conditions are met:

A protected computer runs a Microsoft Windows OS.
You have to create the recovery media on the physical machine itself (if you have to use custom drivers for restore), not via Backup Server for other OS like Linux.
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=50

There is also a recovery media for Linux systems on the veeam Download Page:
https://www.veeam.com/linux-backup-download.html

Hi George,

Did you mean patching recovery media iso for UEFI system?
You can use this guide. It helps you to download iso (gives you a link to the repository) and describes how to chose EFI option when you create a recovery media.

Thanks!

No, currently there is no ready-to-go recovery media for UEFI. You need to download the default media and patch it so that it can boot on UEFI-based machines. If you haven't done that during the first start then please refer to the userguide instructions to learn how to do it manually.

Not possible.
This only works with Windows Agents.

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
Keep in mind that you can create Veeam Recovery Media in Veeam Backup & Replication only for computers that are protected with Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.
You can create the iso from inside the guest or download a generic iso file from the veeam webpage:

Hi Valter,

Moved your post to the existing thread. Mildur's right, that's not possible.
But you can download recovery media (select operating system, click get link, scroll down to download recovery media).
Please review this thread to get more information.

Thanks!
