Why DataDomain not support as a repository during Backup from physical linux

That is so strange for me during create new linux backup while select backup repository not meet my DataDomain
why ?
it could not support DataDomain

Actually i want get backup from a specific path of linux server and save backup data on EMC data domain
now what do i have to do ?

Hi,

In the current version of VAL DataDomain is supported only as CIFS share. DDboost is not supported.
